Privacy Policy

DraftsNow is a post-call follow-up email tool. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under applicable law, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Who we are

DraftsNow is operated by Jan Velkey-Sølvberg, an individual trader based in Norway. For privacy matters, contact: support@executiveworkbench.com

2. What data we collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

• Email address — collected at purchase or trial signup. Used to deliver your access link and send service-related emails.
• IP address — recorded at trial token creation to prevent abuse (one free trial per IP per 24 hours). Not used for tracking or profiling.
• Usage data — how many emails you have generated and when you last used the tool. Used to manage your monthly generation limit and send relevant lifecycle emails.
• Voice fields — your name, title, sign-off, tone preference, and output language. Stored in your browser's local storage only. Never sent to our servers or stored in our database.

We do not store the call notes you paste into the tool. We do not store the emails the tool generates for you. This content is processed in transit and immediately discarded.

3. Third-party processors

Your data passes through the following third-party services:

• Stripe — payment processing. Stripe collects and stores your payment details. We never see or store your card information. Stripe Privacy Policy →
• Resend — email delivery. Your email address is passed to Resend to deliver access links and lifecycle emails. Resend Privacy Policy →
• Anthropic — AI generation. The call notes you paste into the tool are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate your follow-up email. Anthropic processes this content to produce the output and does not use it to train their models. Anthropic Privacy Policy →
• Supabase — database and infrastructure. Your email address, token, and usage data are stored in Supabase's hosted database. Supabase Privacy Policy →

4. Legal basis for processing (GDPR)

We process your data on the following legal bases:

• Contract performance — processing your email address and usage data is necessary to deliver the service you purchased.
• Legitimate interests — sending lifecycle emails (renewal reminders, dormancy nudges) and recording IP addresses for abuse prevention.
• Consent — by completing a purchase or trial signup, you consent to receive service-related emails. You can withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing.

5. Email communications

By purchasing or signing up for a free trial, you consent to receive emails related to your DraftsNow subscription — including access links, renewal reminders, and usage nudges. Every non-transactional email includes an unsubscribe link. Transactional emails (access links, expiry notices, billing receipts) are sent regardless of unsubscribe status as they are necessary to deliver the service.

6. Data retention

We retain your email address and usage data for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days. After that, your data is deleted. IP addresses recorded at trial creation are deleted after 30 days.

7. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the following rights:

• The right to access the data we hold about you
• The right to correct inaccurate data
• The right to request deletion of your data
• The right to object to or restrict processing
• The right to data portability
• The right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority

8. Cookies and local storage

The DraftsNow landing page (draftsnow.com) uses no cookies and no tracking. The DraftsNow tool (draftsnow.executiveworkbench.com) uses browser local storage to save your voice settings (name, title, tone, language) between sessions. This storage is strictly necessary for the tool to function and does not contain personally identifiable information beyond what you choose to enter. No tracking cookies are used on any DraftsNow page.

9. Security

Your data is stored in Supabase with row-level security enabled. Access tokens are validated server-side on every request. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe and never touches our infrastructure.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify active subscribers by email. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the date of the most recent update.
